The kapuso actress Jennylyn Mercado confirmed that she will be attending the wedding of her former boyfriend, kapamilya actor Patrick Garcia to Nikka Martinez.
In an interview with Push during the launching of her album, the “Starstruck” alumna said she will attend their big day because her son with Patrick Garcia, Alex Jazz will be the ring bearer.
Jennylyn Mercado was quoted saying: “Excited ako sa kasal ni Patrick dahil ring-bearer si Jazz. Lagi kaming nagkakausap nina Pat at lalung-lalo na si Niks. Kasama ako sa wedding. Happy ako doon.”
Jennylyn Mercado and Patrick Garcia confirmed their split in 2008, the same year she gave birth to their son. The 33-year-old actor also had a son with Nikka Martinez.
The 27-year-old actress said she have to witness the wedding of Patrick Garcia since he is already part of her life. “Dapat makita ko yung celebration na ‘yon. Siyempre, tatay ni Jazz yon. Part siya ng buhay ko, so, kailangan kong ma-witness yon,” she further said.
During the interview, Jennylyn Mercado was also asked about her love life. She denied her rumored blossoming romance with her “English Only, Please” co-star Derek Ramsay, and reconciling with her ex-boyfriend Dennis Trillo.
Jennylyn Mercado’s last public relationship was with actor-host Luis Manzano. According to her, she has fully moved from the break up and she is not currently entertaining anybody.
