The kapamilya-turned-kapatid actor Alwyn Uytingco and the daughter of veteran actress Jean Garcia, Jennica Garcia, finally revealed their secret wedding.
In a press conference for “TV5’s Wattpad Presents Dyepni” on Wednesday October 15, the “Beki Boxer” star admitted that they got married on February 12, 2014 at Victory Church in Greenhills, San Juan City.
Alwyn Uytingco apologized also to their fans and friends for keeping their wedding as a secret, saying that they are just looking for the right time to tell it.
“Sorry kung may mga nagtatanong, hindi namin alam kung ano ang sasabihin namin. Kasi lagi kaming tinatanong, kailan kami magpapakasal, ‘tapos hindi ko lang masabi na, ‘A, actually kasal na kami at naghahanap lang kami ng right time to tell everyone,” he said.
The kapuso actress also said that it was hard for them to admit their marriage especially if they are not together, noting that they are working in different TV networks.
“Siguro it took us this long to admit because it’s hard kasi to speak about marriage nang magkahiwalay kasi kaming dalawa. We all know naman na were both from different networks,” she said.
Jennica Garcia added that it would be inappropriate to call for a press conference just to announce their wedding especially that they are not big stars in the showbiz industry.
After the interview, Alwyn Uytingco and Jennica Garcia took their respective Instagram accounts to share to their followers that they are happily married.
