Anne Curtis To Top Bill Bob Ong’s “Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin”

The box-office and award-winning actress Anne Curtis is set to top bill the movie adaptation of best-selling book “Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin”, written by the local author Bob Ong.

Yesterday October 14, the “It’s Showtime” host took the image-sharing site Instagram to announce that she will soon star in a new movie by posting a photo of her script. “Another treat to come home to —A freshly printed script to review. I absolutely love shooting films!!! #passion,” she captioned the photo.

“Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin” was written in 2011 and was published by Visprint Inc. The book, which is Bob Ong’s 9th novel, is divided into three parts.

Bob Ong is also the author of popular book “ABNKKBSNPLAko?!” which was adapted for movie this year. Directed by Mark Meily, the film star Andi Eigenmann, Meg Imperial and Jericho Rosales.

“Lumayo Ka Nga Sa Akin” will mark the second movie of Anne Curtis this year after she starred in the comedy film “The Gifted” with Christine Reyes and Sam Milby. The other cast of the movies and target premiere date has yet to be revealed by Viva Films.

Meanwhile, Anne Curtis is currently promoting her newest movie “Blood Ransom“, which also stars Alexander Dreymon. The film will be released on October 29 and will premiere in North America on October 31.

“Blood Ransom”, directed by Filipino-American Francis dela Torre, is the first international project and movie of Anne Curtis.
