The actress LJ Moreno and her husband Philippine Basketball Association (PBA) player, Jimmy Alapag are now fixing the adoption papers to adopt a baby boy, who now lives with them.

In an interview with PEP during the baby shower on Thursday, LJ Moreno, who is now seven months pregnant with her first baby, said that they decided to adopt the baby boy, two days before she found out that she is pregnant.
LJ Moreno said that she is happy and blessed that their baby came in God’s time after long years of waiting. The couple has been married since 2010.
“It was all in God’s perfect time, once na-establish yung business and si Jimmy rin towards the end of his [PBA] career, so he can be more hands-on. o, nakita namin na, ‘Okay, plano talaga ni God ito,” she said.
On April, the Basketball star and LJ Moreno became emotional as they open up about adoption battle on the morning lifestyle show “Kris TV.” The adoption was not pushed through due to some issues.
LJ Moreno is set to give birth this December and she was not yet thinking about getting pregnant again because of “trauma” and difficulties she experienced during the first trimester of pregnancy.
“They say, after you give birth, mag-iiba, e. Pero right now, na-trauma talaga ako, e, nung first trimester. So, hindi ko pa muna iniisip yung next pregnancy,” she said.
