A magnitude 5.5 earthquake hits the island of Panay on Friday afternoon, October 3, 2014 with its epicenter at Tibiao (Antique) according to the latest reports posted and confirmed by the Philippine Institute of Volcanologist and Seismologist (PHIVOLCS).

According to Philvolcs announcement Intensity V were recorded in Kalibo, Aklan; Sebaste, Antique while Intensity IV hits San Jose, Antique and Intensity III hits La Carlota City of Negros Occidental.
