The video of the student serenading his girlfriend and showcasing his love and admiration to his loved ones, became one of the most popular topic online during the past few days. The video which was captured at Mendiola intersection was uploaded first on Facebook and eventually on YouTube, garnering hundreds of thousands of views.

The 2-minute video clip was first uploaded on Facebook by Jonah Flores on Tuesday, September 23, 2014. The video shows a male student with a microphone and speaker singing a special song dedicated to his girlfriend, which was also accompanied by a guitarist.

The student who was holding a bouquet of flowers sang a Noel Cabangon song “Kahit Maputi Na Ang Buhok Ko,” the popular song which was also sang by various Filipino singers.

Most people who were present during the scene created by the student stop by and were curious about the student’s girlfriend, suddenly a woman wearing a San Beda College uniform emerged and went directly to his boyfriend, still in shocked because of the huge surprise.

The student who sang then announced and was quoted as saying “Happy third anniversary!” the student told his girlfriend, getting cheers from onlookers. “Ito, bouquet, first time ko magbibigay sa’yo sa three years!”

The guy also added further and said “Sa lahat ng lalaki, gusto ko ipaalala niyo sa mga girlfriend niyo na walang babaeng maliit kung ipagmamalaki niyo,” the student stated.
