The kapamilya actress Jodi Sta. Maria said that she feels happy on the changes of her career after she was given another chance to shine in the showbiz industry again.
In an interview with entertainment site Push, the former teen actress and one of the casts of youth-oriented series “Tabing Ilog” said that she was already contented on her life after she bid goodbye in the show business to get married in 2005, adding that she did not expect her stardom again.
“Hindi na po kasi before everything, before all these things, I was content na with what I was doing and with what I have. And then suddenly na-bless pa ako na magagandang proyekto, nabigyan ako ng oportunidad na makagawa ng mga bagay sa career ko na hindi ko inakalang magiging posible pa pala,” she said.
Jodi Sta. Maria said that she is grateful to the Lord for what she has become now. She also said that the Lord has prepared her so she can fully appreciate His blessings.
“siyempre lahat yan ipinagpapasalamat ko sa Panginoon. Alam ko na inihanda niya ako para dito, bago pa ako bigyan ng blessings ay he has prepared me first to make sure na maalagaan ko at ma-appreciate ko ng husto yung ibinigay niya,” she added.
Jodi Sta. Maria currently stars in the hit noon time show “Be Careful With My Heart” and her newest horror film “Maria Leonora Teresa” is still showing in more than 1oo theaters nationwide.
