The kapuso actor Alden Richards feels sad about the delay of his movie entitled “Cain at Abel” with Aljur Abrenica, who recently filed a case against GMA network to end his contract.
The actors have already started to shoot the movie. However, it was interrupted when the news broke out that Aljur Abrenica filed a complaint against his home network for seven years over the mismanagement of his career.
In an interview with PEP, the former “Star Struck” contestant said that he was saddened about the delay of the film and for Aljur Abrenica, noting that a lot people say that he will be next Dingdong Dantes.
“Nakakalungkot, sayang. Kasi marami ang nagsasabi na Aljur is the next… ang daming naniniwala na siya na ang susunod kay Kuya Dong [Dingdong Dantes],” he said.
Despite this, the 22-year-old actor is praying that Aljur Abrenica would be able to make right decisions for his life and career. He also prays that the case will be finally settled.
“Sana gabayan si Aljur ni Lord na makagawa ng mga tamang desisyon para sa buhay niya. Hindi na lang sa career, pero sa buhay. So, I’m really praying that he would find the right way. And sana maayos na soon,” he said.
According to Alden Richards, the shooting for the movie has yet to be resumed, adding that it would take a long time. He is also unsure if someone will replace Aljur Abrenica.
