The Eat Bulaga host Paolo Ballesteros is currently staying at the Marikina Valley Medical Center after he was rushed to the hospital on Monday night September 15, 2014 after suffering from transient schemic attack or mild stroke.
On Monday, he posted a photo of in the hospital and captioned the photo: “staying in tonight. Marikina Valley Medical Center. hyper tension daw. transient schemic attack. mild stroke pero hindi naman nagprogress. salamat naman. doing some lab tests tomorrow. 200 ang bp antandaaa ko na!! hehe. feeling better now. thanks @doryisbabe @eatbulagaselfie @joelrelleve @yayin_1203 @chiquitita03 @zhukini #dietpagow #bangkokpillspahihistopmuna #vicemayorcadiz.”
The 31-year-old actor and host is the great-grandson of National Artist Fernando Armosolo. He is also the nephew of veteran actress Eula Valdez.
Paolo Ballesteros rose to fame after joining the noon time show “Eat Bulaga” as a segment host. After the segment ended, he regularly became the host of the hit noon-time show.
Aside from hosting, Paolo Ballesteros appeared also in several TV commercials, movies and GMA-7’s TV series including “Kahit Kailan” and “Ikaw Lang Ang Mamahalin.” He is also famous for impersonating local and international celebrities.
Paolo Ballesteros regularly appeared as one of the host of “Eat Bulaga’s” segment “Juan For All, All For Juan” alongside withe actors and comedians Wally Bayola and Jose Manalo.
