After two years of being together as boyfriend-girlfriend, Bugoy Drillon and Liezel Garcia decided to be just friends. After which, even if their relationship did not work, they remained friends.
Bugoy guested in Kris TV on Tuesday, September 16, 2014 and he confirmed this thing. Actually, the break-up happened last year.
Based on him, they are no longer with each other since last year. “We are not together po. Last year pa po,” he said. But then, he confirmed that they are still friends even after the break-up.
When he was asked on the reason of their break-up, he just said that it won’t be proper if he himself say that thing. In other words, he just want Liezel to say the reason. Perhaps, it’s also because they have fall out of love. He also admitted that he was actually childish sometimes.
“Ayaw ko sa akin manggaling kasi magiging bias po. …We lasted two years po. Sometimes you fall out of love so it’s better na maging friends kasi kung maapektuhan lang yung mga nasa paligid niyo. I admit I’m childish sometimes,” he stated.
But then, he said that what’s important now is that they’re friends.
He was also asked if it is really possible to be friends after being in a relationship, then he said yes. Based on him, they have actually talked about it beforehand. In which, nothing would change even after their break up.
They both believe that not all break-ups are not good. He said that since they started as friends, they will end up as friends. “Pinag-usapan po namin na walang magbabago ano man ang mangyari. Kasi we believe na hindi lahat ng breakups ay pangit. We can make it better kasi we started as friends so we ended as friends so it’s okay,” he explained.
The rumors of their break-up started when they arrive separately in the 7th Star Magic Ball last year.
