Group of Managers Defend Lovi Poe Over Her Rift with Director Erik Matti

Members of the Professional Artist Managers, Inc. (PAMI) assembled to issue a statement in defense of Kapuso star Lovi Poe and her manager Leo Dominguez over their rift with veteran director Erik Matti.

The veteran movie director recently made headlines after he posted some scathing statement against the actress on his Facebook account. He reportedly lambasted the actress by calling her a “starlet.”

“After careful deliberation, PAMI expressed its support to Dominguez and condemned the reckless, arrogant, and vulgar statements of Matti in his social media account,” the group said in defense of Lovi Poe and her manager Leo Dominguez

Dolor Guevarra, Ethel Ramos, Norma Japitana, Girlie Rodis, Leo Dominguez, Aster Amoyo, Malou Choa-Fagar, Popoy Caritativo, Carlo Orosa, Veana Fores, Manny Valera, June Torrejon Rufino, Shirley Kuan, Ricky Gallardo, Angge Lee, Arnold Vegafria, Chit Ramos, Bettina Aspillaga, and Rowena Salido are among who were present during the brief press conference.

The issue between Director Erik Matti and Lovi Poe erupted after she decided not to join the cast of Tiktik: The Aswang Chronicles” which is gearing up with a sequel. Poe plays the role of Dingdong Dantes’ leading lady in the sci-fi/horror movie.
