The actress and comedian Kitkat, whose real name is Soraya Ray L. Bañas, finally revealed that she has been married for five years with a Filipino-American named Waldy Fabia, the brother of celebrity chef Jeremy Fabia.
In an interview with PEP, Kitkat said that they are legally married in the United States and she refused to talked about it in the public since their marriage is not being recognized in the country.
“Hindi ko pa pina-file dito. Pangalawa, ngayong nagiging sexy comedienne na ako, ayoko namang puwersahan nating pag-usapan. Kung tayo, alam niyo, okay lang. “Kung yung iba, hindi alam, okay lang din, ganun lang,” she said.
The 29-year-old singer also shared that her husband is her childhood friend and she has a crush on him since then. They only became close after she was allegedly robbed by her former boyfriend of six years.
“Magpa-five years na kami… Matapos akong manakawan noon, siya na ang naging dyowa ko. Kababata ko siya, noong bata pa ako, crush na crush ko siya,” she said.
In 2008, Kitkat filed a case against her live-in partner Alfred Santos for allegedly robbing her jewelries and money from ATM.
Meanwhile, Kitkat also said that she and her husband doesn’t have plans on having a baby yet, citing that she is not yet emotionally, physically, financially ready as the reason. According to Kitkat, her husband already has a child from his former partner.
