Jhong Madaliday also known by netizens as the “Pinoy Version of Air Supply” visits the top-rating noontime show in the Philippines, “It’s Showtime” on Tuesday, September 9, 2014 and performed his own version of Air Supply’s “Having You Near Me.” The young aspiring singer from North Cotabato made a name for himself after his video on YouTube went viral during the past few days.

Aside from Jhong Madaliday who guested on It’s Showtime, he also brought with him his friends, Samir and King who served as instrumentalists accompanying him on his performance which received a standing ovation live on national TV.
The trio from North Cotabato became famous online particularly on YouTube as a video featuring their own rendition of the Air Supply hit song, “Having You Near Me,” became viral online, garnering more than a million views combined from different YouTube users.
Jhong Madaliday and his friends were already featured on various shows not only in ABS-CBN but also on rival TV station, GMA-7. The group of three young performers were already interviewed by Jessica Sojo last August 31, 2014.
During their featured story on Kapuso Mo Jessica Sojo, the young singer from North Cotabato, Jhong Madaliday was even described by the TV host-anchor Jessica Sojo, as the male version, of Air Supply’s vocalist Russell Hitchcock.
