Jericho Rosales who was once the lead star of “Pangako Sa’yo” together with Kristine Hermosa says that he is so excited on the possible remake of their hit TV series before. This time, it is rumored to be portrayed by the Teen King and Queen, Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo.
According to Jericho, the two teen stars have a “very strong” chemistry on screen. He also said that the love story of the stars in “Pangako Sa’yo” will really be portrayed best by the two young stars. This is based on ABS-CBN News.
“If they are getting Daniel and Kathryn, ang lakas ng tandem na ‘yan. I’m sure ang lakas ng chemistry nilang dalawa. And ‘Pangako Sa’ ‘Yo,’ ang isang power nun is the chemistry between Angelo and Yna and their love story. Buhay na buhay naman ‘yun sa love team nila Daniel and Kathryn. I’m just honored,” he said.
However, the said remake is not yet confirmed at the moment. Even Kathryn did not say anything in this thing. She just said that she would be overjoyed if she will be offered to do the said remake. She is also very much excited for this.
“Pangako Sa’yo” was originally aired in Philippine television in 2000. It is the love story of Yna who is portrayed by Kristine Hermosa and Angelo portrayed by Jericho. It had been a top-rating TV series on that time. It was also been popular by the rivalry of Amor Powers (Eula Valdez) and Claudia Buenavista (Jean Garcia).
Actually, Rosales said that he was offered a role in the remake of the said TV series but he refused. It’s because he thought that the said role is not best for him. He also said that he just want to watch “Pangako Sa’yo” now considering that he had been part of it for almost 3 years.
Pangako Sa’yo had actually been aired for over 2o foreign territories since 2002. With it, it had become the most successful Philippine TV series that was aired internationally.
