The star studded Star Magic Ball will happen this evening, September 6, 2014. It is also known as the get together of the best stars and celebrities in the Philippines wearing such great gowns and suits. It is also one big event that you can witness real life couples in showbiz attending together the said event.
This years, Hawak Kamay star Iza Calzado us set to be the date of the ever heartthrob Piolo Pascual. According to her, she was really flattered to be the date of Piolo Pascual on the said event. “It’s like the king asking me to go with him to the Ball,” she said. This is based on her interview in Pep.ph.
Based on Iza, it’s not just as simple that when she wake up, she is already the date of Piolo in the said ball. But then, there’s no such thing as proposal like what Xian Lim did to Kim Chiu. They just talked about it in the set of “Hawak Kamay.”
In there, she had said that she is not sure if she would bring Ben, who is her boyfriend on the said ball. According to her, she usually goes along in such showbiz gatherings like the Star Magic Ball.
She was actually asked by Piolo if who is with her in the ball, “Sabi ko, ‘Basta kapag wala akong kasama, puwedeng magkasama tayo sa table?” she answered.
“Sabi niya, ‘Let’s just go together.’ “’Tapos ako, parang, ‘Bakit hindi?’” Iza stated.
She also said that there’s some pressure being the date of Piolo. “Parang biglang, I was okay, suddenly I’m his date, and now, oh my goodness!” she said.
But then, she first asked permission to her boyfriend. According to her, her boyfriend is so supportive. Maybe, it’s because of the fact that his boyfriend is a foreigner.
She also said that she feel blessed on this thing considering that Piolo is his ever crush and being the date of your crush is actually a once in a lifetime event.
