The wedding of kapuso actress Heart Evangelista and Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero will be held on February 15, 2014 at Balesin Island, according to entertainment site PEP.
This final date and venue of their wedding was revealed after another couple’s wedding was allegedly bumped-off to prioritize theirs on February 14, 2015 at the same venue.

The issue surfaced when a makeup artist Ria Gamboa posted on Facebook that her friend’s wedding was “Bumped off” because “a celebrity-politician couple wanted theirs on the same day.”
Although she didn’t name the personalities, many netizens speculated that it was the wedding of the newly engaged couple Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero.
On Tuesday September 3, 2014, Ria Gamboa’s friend, the bride-to-be Cescsa Litton confirmed that their wedding will no longer be accommodated.
The “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” guest co-host Toni Gonzaga read the statement of Cesca Litton which says: “It came as a surprise when I received a phone call from my coordinator just last Saturday that Chiz and Heart had been approved for February 14 after they had spoken to the owner, Mr. Ongpin, to reserve the date.”
According to the Facebook post of Mr. Ongpin, it was him who invited Chiz Escudero and Heart Evangelista to tie-the-knot in Balesin after he learned that they formally got engaged.
Mr. Ongpin also said that he reserved the February 14, 2015 date for them after he checked that nobody confirmed to reserve that date for a wedding.
Meanwhile, Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero earlier denied the issue, saying that they haven’t finalized the wedding details yet.
