Philippines vs. Croatia

The Croatian national basketball team is bannered by NBA plyaers Bojan Bogdanovic and Damjan Rudez ang 7-foot-2 giant Ante Tomic. The team is ranked No. 16 based upon FIBA rankings, they finished fourth during the 2013 Euro Basket, the squad is also composed of a young team featuring players at their early 20’s with only one player at least 30 years old.

The Philippine squad will be playing in the FIBA World Cup for the first time since the year 1978. According to the latest updates from the Gilas squad, Asia’s best point guard playing for Gilas, Jayson Castro is now cleared to play for the national team after recovering from his Achilles injury.
