It’s Showtime host Anne Curtis says that she is not limiting herself to do any projects being offered to her. This question was asked because of her fat role in her upcoming movie which is entitled The Gifted. This is also in relation to the decision of her co-star in the movie Cristine Reyes to change her sexy image.
According t Anne, she will just accept any script given to her. Whether it is drama, comedy or any other role. This is based on her interview in Pep.ph.
“Well, for me, wala namang ganun. “Kasi sa akin naman, kung ano ang dumating na script—may it be comedy, or drama or pa-tweetums—I don’t have limitations,” she said.
According to Anne, she is willing to do certain roles as long she is able to what she love. “Kung ang role na ‘yan ay talagang wild or tipong Blue Is The Warmest Color, why not, ‘di ba?” she said.
Based on her, she is game to do any role as long as it is a challenging role.
Talking about Cristine Reyes, Anne says that she understand her and what she’ve been through. She knew that it took a long time for Cristine to finally decide on that matter. Based on her, it’s actually a good move for her.
Actually, with their latest movie, she have proven that she no longer need to do that thing anymore. Somehow, she believe that it’s been 10 years since Cristine is doing it and she still have something more exciting to show to people.
She also said that she respects the decision of Cristine in this matter.
“And, at least, dito sa film ay ipinakita niya na she doesn’t have to go that way anymore. I think it’s great for her and just respect her decision,” she said.
She also said that she is happy for Cristine for she able to do comedy films. She believes that it’s about time for Cristine to try other things.
