Star Cinema has released the official and full trailer of the upcoming horror film “Maria Leonora Teresa” featuring the kapamilya stars Zanjoe Marudo, Iza Calzado and Jodi Sta. Maria.

The video which was uploaded on Star Cinema’s YouTube channel on Wednesday August 27, 2014, introduces the three leading characters who will play the roles of the parents Faith, Stella and Julio respectively.
The clip shows the happy moments of the three parents with their respective children Maria, Leonora, Teresa then one day, a tragic bus accident occurred which took the lives of their kids.
To cope with the loss of their children, a mysterious psychologist named Manolo, to be portrayed by Chris Villanueva, offered a life-sized doll to each one of them. However, the situation worsen when the dolls came to life.
“Maria Leonora Teresa” is the first project of Zanjoe Marudo, Iza Calzado and Jodi Sta. Maria together.
The horror movie was offered to the “Queen of Pinoy Soap Operas” Judy Ann Santos and to the “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino but they have turned it down because according to some reports, they still have a lot of work commitments.
“Maria Leonora Teresa” is directed by the box-office director Wenn V. Deramas. The movie will hit the theaters nationwide on September 17, 2014.
