The country’s Teen King and Queen Daniel Padilla and Kathryn Bernardo took the “Ice Bucket Challenge” which aims to raise awareness for Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis (ALS) or Lou Gehrig’s disease.
The “She’s Dating the Gangster” stars did the challenge after they were nominated by Kris Aquino’s friend and ABS-CBN writer Darla Sauler, who also did the challenge during the live broadcast of the lifestyle show “Kris TV” on Monday August 25, 2014.
Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla posted their video on the young actress’ personal Instagram account on Tuesday morning.
They nominated the celebrity couples Robin Padilla and Mariel Rodriguez, Bea Alonzo and Zanjoe Marudo, John Lloyd Cruz and Angelica Panganiban, and as well as the businessman Ben Chan.

The participants of the “Ice Bucket Challenge” must record themselves doing the challenge and post it in any social media sites. They also have to nominate others to keep the cycle going.
If they refused to accept the challenge within 24 hours, they have to donate to the ALS community in the United States. The nominees can also do the challenge and donate at the same time.
The highly popular “Ice Bucket Challenge” was participated by a lot of international and local stars and even by the ordinary people.
