The “Pinoy Big Brother: All In” Big Winner Daniel Matsunaga was made to react on the engagement of his former girlfriend actress Heart Evangelista with Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.

In an interview with “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” aired on Monday August 25, 2014, the Brazilian-Japanese model said that it was the former housemate Alex Gonzaga who relayed the news to him.
Daniel Matsunaga said that they are happy for the both of them since they have already moved. “Okay lang. Masaya ako para sa kanila, seriously. Move on talaga, matagal na.”
Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero got engaged on Saturday August 23, 2014 in Sorsogon, one day before Daniel Matsunaga was named as the PBB All In Big Winner at the Newport Performing Arts and Theater.
Daniel Matsunaga and the Kapuso star broke up in 2012 citing “cultural differences” as the reason after a year of being a couple. In July 2013, Heart Evangelista and Chiz Escudero made their relationship official but the lawmaker only confirmed it in October on the same year.
After the confirmation, Daniel Matsunaga said that he and Heart Evangelista was able to maintain their good relationship as friends that he is even open on meeting the 44-year-old politcian.
Meanwhile, Daniel Matsunaga said that wants to be friends with the housemate Vickie Rushton, who was romantically linked to him by their fellow housemates inside the famous yellow house. The Bacolod-based model is currently in a relationship with actor Jason Abalos.
