The mayor of Makati City Jejomar “Junjun” Binay Jr. clarified his relationship with the country’s “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino during his interview with ANC on Monday August 18, 2014.
The son of the incumbent Vice President Jojo Binay said that there is no truth to the issues that they are dating, saying that they are only friends. Kris Aquino’s family is known to have close ties with Junjun Binay’s family.
Junjun Binay shared also a short story to illustrate the close relationship of his family with Aquinos.
Junjun Binay said that he and the actress-host were on the same hospital when his wife and her mother were sick. He lost his wife on August 11, 2009, 10 days after the former president Cory Aquino passed away.
The 37-year-old politician also revealed that he was tasked by the Aquino family to take the body of the late former president without letting anyone know, which was not reported by the media.
“I was tasked to do something for the family. I took her out eh, si Tita Cory without anyone noticing that she was out of the building,” he said.
Kris Aquino earlier denied also that they are dating even before they were seen watching a concert together in 2011. She also said that Junjun Binay is dating someone else.
Meanwhile, Kris Aquino was recently romantically linked to Quezon City mayor Herbert Bautista but their budding romance ended shortly.
