Hanna Sanchez who is a triathlete will swim in order to raise funds for street animals. She will swim a total distance of 25 kilometers or 500 laps. This will be used in helping those sick and abandoned dogs and cats who are rescued by the group Compassion and Responsibility for Animals (CARA). This is called an “Ultra Swim 2 for CARA.”
She will be donating all the money raised in this said fund raising. Indeed, this will really take large percentage of his body strength just to be able to finish and accomplish it.
Meanwhile, Sanchez is a 24 year old girl who have lost her mother when she was just 3 weeks old. In other words, she grow up without having a mother on her side. I guess this is all because of the fact that she have taken inspiration from a paralyzed street dog at the Cainta, Rizal market.
She really have the heart for animals.According to her, “If I can only help all the animals in the world, you know I would, but I am just a human, [and] I can only do so much when it comes to furry dogs and cats. I couldn’t give a lot of money because I am not rich.” The said fund raising event will happen tomorrow, August 16, 2014.
She was also a History student at De La Salle University who wants to pursue a a master’s degree in archaeology.
She also believed that this fund raising event will be a form of reaching out to people to support the animal welfare.
There’s already a lot of fund raising event who have given some percentage of the funds raised to those who needed it one particular reason is for the animal welfare. But for giving it all, this really makes a different to the other. Indeed, this triathlete is really a kind-hearted girl who understands and gives importance to the animals.
The said fund will be used in rebuilding the Pit Bull Rehabilitation Center which are run by the group.
Perhaps, it will be held at Enrique M. Razon Sports Center in De La Salle University, Manila from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. tomorrow, August 16.
