2015 List Of Holidays For Schools Released By DepEd

A total of 20 holidays will be observed in schools in 2015. This includes a 10 regular holiday and 1 special holidays for schools. This was officially announced by the Department of Education this Monday, August 4, 2014.

This list of holidays for schools derived from the recent Presidential Proclamation 831. The DepEd Secretary then ordered an immediate dissemination of the list to serve as guide for schools and DepEd office. The said DepEd Secretary is Mr. Armin Luistro. This was posted on the official website of the said department.

The DepEd holidays are as follows:

The remaining two holidays are for Eid’l Fitr and Eidul Adha will be released on the later days. This will be issued by the National Commission on Muslim Filipinos.

He also said that, “Information crucial to planning should be distributed with urgency; it steers decision-making functions and policies to their most efficient positions. It is a way to ensure that we are proactive in delivering the education agenda.” 

With this list of holidays released, Filipinos can really most of their times at homes and spend it more with their families.

Indeed, a nice 2015 lies ahead. We all sneed  to celebrate for this.
