The highly anticipated sequel of the 2011 blockbuster movie “The Unkabogable Praybeyt Benjamin,” started its shooting day according to Kris Aquino, the mother of one of the movie’s lead star Bimby Yap. Kris Aquino shared on “Aquino & Abunda Tonight” the first behind-the-scene video of the comedy film. The movie is set to compete in the upcoming Metro Manila Film Festival (MMFF) 2014.
The “Queen of All Media” Kris Aquino revealed yesterday night, that the first shooting day of “Praybeyt Benjamin 2” took place in Antipolo City. The 7-year-old Bimby Yap filmed a scene with blckbuster comedian Vice Ganda, the lead character of the movie.
Aside from Bimby Yap, one of the most popular actor in Philippine TV, Richard Yap of “Be Careful With My Heart,” is also part of the movie which is under the direction of award-winning and blockbuster director, Ween Deramas.
The movie “Praybeyt Benjamin 2” will mark the third consecutive MMFF entry of Vice Ganda after his blockbuster hits “Sisterakas” and “Girl, Boy, Bakla, Tomboy,” which was also considered as the Philippines top-grossing movies of all time.
Bimby Yap on his part, will also join the highly anticipated MMFF competition for the second straight time after his blockbuster entry into the movie industry with last year’s “My Little Bossing.”
The mother of Bimby Yap, Kris Aquino will also join the MMFF list of entries with her participation in the big screen horror movie along side Coco Martin. They will lead the casts of “Feng Shui 2,” the sequel of the 2004 horror movie, directed by Chito Rono.
