The kapamilya teen actor Daniel Padilla admitted during his interview with entertainment site Push.abs-cbn.com that he wanted to portray the role of a superhero for his next project.
Although the “She’s dating the Gangster” has already done six movies in the showbiz industry, he still wanted to try different genres like starring in romantic-comedy series and playing the role of a superhero.
“Parang pag rom-com masaya pa rin. Maganda ang rom-com masarap gawin at saka yung characters masarap gampanan. Pero depende din kung sino yung makakatrabaho mo siyempre at sino yung director mo,” he said
“Pero ang horror din masarap naman. Pero gusto ko rin subukan maging superhero. Siguro yung tipo ni Spider-man,” he continued.
Daniel Padilla has already starred in several box-office movies including “Sisterakas”, “24/7 In Love”, “Must be Love”, “Pagpag: Siyam na Buhay” and “Sa Ngalan ng Ama, Ina at Mga Anak.
His recent movie is the blockbuster hit “She’s Dating the Gangster” which also stars his on-screen partner and rumored girlfriend Kathryn Bernardo.
The 19-year-old actor said also during the interview that it was the most difficult movie for him so far since he portrayed two different characters. The film features two timelines so Daniel Padilla needed to play two roles.
“She’s Dating the Gangster”, directed by the box-office director Cathy Garcia-Molina is still showing in more than 180 theaters nationwide.
