The kapamilya-turned-kapuso star Tom Rodriguez hinted possible romance with his “My Destiny” leading lady Carla Abellana during his interview with entertainment site PEP.
The former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate said in his interview that he enjoyed actress’ company, adding that he is looking forward for more projects with her.
“We’re really good friends, we really enjoy each other’s company. Ako naman, I really enjoy her company so much. I can’t speak for her, pero ako, I really enjoy her company and I find myself looking forward more to work lagi because of her,” he said.
When asked if he is courting Carla Abellana , the 26-year-old actor simply said: “Sana. Trying, trying.” Tom Rodriguez clarified also that they are not dating although the are always working together on the set of their new series.
Tom Rodriguez and Carla Abellana first worked together in the hit and now defunct series “My Husband’s Lover” which also stars Dennis Trillo. They were recently paired again in the series “My Destiny.”
Carla Abellana was also hesitant to talk about the possibility of falling in love with Tom Rodriguez in her past interviews, saying that she wanted to focus on her career first.
Carla Abellana, who was previously in a relationship with actor Geoff Eigenmann, was frequently teased to Tom Rodriguez since most couple in the showbiz industry started as co-stars in film or TV series.
Meanwhile, the two kapuso stars are currently busy for the shooting of their series series “My Destiny” which airs on GMA’s Primetime Block.
