Former “Star Circle Quest” finalist Melissa Ricks finally issued a statement to confirm her pregnancy. She made headlines earlier after Star Magic announced that she is pregnant with her non-showbiz boyfriend.

The 24-year-old actress told ABS-CBN News that she is now four months and two weeks pregnant and according to her, she did not open up about her pregnancy since there are no instances that she was asked about it.
In her interview, Melissa Ricks revealed how she found out that she is already pregnant. Based upon her statement, she went on thinking that she was only suffering from over-fatigue or food poisoning at the time.
Melissa Ricks or Melissa Marie Ricks in real life only knew that she’s already pregnant after she undergo a check up and an ultrasound. She was accompanied by her fellow actress Helga Krapf.
Melissa Ricks is happy and thankful for the support of her partner, her family who among to show support on her. She is also thankful to the management of ABS-CBN despite that she’s now pregnant, still she has lots of project to make.
The Filipino-American actress came to prominence as one of the finalists of Kapamilya network’s defunct talent search, “Star Circle Quest.” She last appeared on TV via top-rated series “Honesto.”
