Queen of All Media Kris Aquino went emotional during the fifth State of the Nation Address (SONA) of her brother, President Benigno (PNoy) Aquino III held at the Batasang Pambansa Complex, Quezon City, July 28, 2014.
The 43-year-old actress-host moved to tears as PNoy recalls how he has been affected with the criticisms on his administration.
Based upon the statement of President Aquino, his health condition and personal security has been swirled with threat since he was elected as the president of the Republic of the Philippines. He even admitted receiving death threats whose against the system of his administration.
“Nung na-mention niya yung ‘pangalawang buhay.’ Siyempre naman, kapatid namin siya. “Every night, ipinagdadasal namin ang kalusugan niya, na ma-guide siya ng Holy Spirit,” Kris Aquino told the Philippine Entertainment Portal (PEP.ph) and other members of the press.
During her interview, Kris Aquino credit PNoy for his dedication to serve the country and the sovereign Filipino people, whom he tagged as “worth fighting for.”
Aside from Kris Aquino, other members of Aquino family also attended the fifth SONA of PNoy including Ballsy Aquino-Cruz, 59; Pinky Aquino-Abellada, 57; and Viel Aquino-Dee, who among the first to support the highest leader of our country.
