Actress Melissa Ricks is pregnant with her first child with non-showbiz boyfriend. The happy news was confirmed by Tess Gulpi of Star Magic during her interview with ABS-CBN News on Monday July 28, 2014.

Tess Gulpi said that they are not hiding her pregnancy but they did not publicize it since people were not asking about it. “Yes , it’s true. Hindi naman tinatago, wala lang nagtatanong,” she said.
The Star Circle Quest alumna was rumored for having new boyfriend since May 2014 but she refused to admit it, saying that she wanted to keep her personal private and away from showbiz that time.
In one of her interviews, she was quoted saying: “Basta ang masasabi ko lang happy ako, nage-enjoy ako. I want to keep things private na lang this time. I learned from the past. Basta dapat masaya lang.”
Rumors that she is pregnant started last month when netizens noticed on her recent photos on the image-sharing site Instagram that her body is expanding.
The 24-year-old actress was previously in a relationship with the “Ikaw Lamang” star Jake Cuenca. She was also romantically involved to the former “Pinoy Big Brother” housemate Jake Cuenca.
Melissa Ricks, who is currently enjoying her short break in Cebu with some of her friends, has yet to issue an official statement about her pregnancy.
