Swatch group has denied that they are working with with Apple on their Smart Watch. A smart watch is a wearable device with interactive functions.
On the other hand, the company have said that the report from media is not real. This is based on the ABS-CBN News.
Swatch is kown to Manufacture, design, distribute, sold and service wristwatches all over the world.
Spokesperson from Swatch says that the only business relationship with them to Apple is that Apple serves as their supplier of integrated circuits and other electronic components.a
Swatch’s Chief Executive Nicolas Hayek says that he was not interested to team up with tech group in developing a smart watch.
There are signs telling that Apple is preparing to launch an i Watch to follow its rivals commercializing smart watches.
The said rivals are specifically Samsung and LG Electronics.
It is said that Swatch shares had risen 2 percent on the European sector index.
However, there are also some issues saying that Swatch is the over all responsible for all of this of this so that they would be the center of attention in the investment industry. The news also says that one of the main concerns of Hayek was the possible need of applications and soft wares from other companies.
Criticisms are already thrown to Swatch even if their Smart watch is not yet released.
