DFA Announced That There is No Filipinos Onboard Taiwan Plane Crash

According to the report on GMA News, Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) announced that there is no Filipino on board during the recent plane crash in Taiwan Thursday, July 24, 2014. This is from the confirmation send through a text message from Charles Jose who was the Foreign Affairs spokesman in Taiwan.

Recent news says that there is at least 48 dead people while there are 10 injured person. The Trans Asia Airways Flight GE 222 plane crash happened in Penghu Island in Taiwan on Wednesday, July 23, 2014. It was on around 7 pm.

There were a total of 58 passengers including 4 crews and two foreigners namely Jeromine Deramond and Penelope Luternauer.

Its pilot had 22 years flight operation experience.

Though the pilot had many years of experience for being a pilot, we can’t still predict on the possibility of accidents to happen. There were some accidents due to human error, while there are others who is caused by the bad weather. However, even if there are no Filipino on board in this said plane crash Filipinos still show support and grieve to the victims of the plane crash.

This recorded plane crash was due  to the bad weather influenced by typhoon Matmo which is named Henry in the Philippines.

Filipino families are relieved with this news.
