Kapuso star Aljur Abrenica went to the Quezon City Hall earlier this afternoon, July 24, 2014 to end his contract in GMA-7 Network.
According to Philippine Entertainment Portal, he filed a Judicial Confirmation of Rescission of his contract against GMA-7. The actor says that he have no more options left but just to end his contract with the said TV network. He also added that the reason why he was there was because he was not given importance and respect in his career.
“Sana may matutunan po ang magkabilang panig. At ipinagdadasal ko rin po na pagkatapos po ng lahat ng ito, e, magkaro’n pa rin ng magandang relasyon ang magkabilang panig,” the actor said.
On the other side, GMA Network haven’t yet received the complaint filed by Aljur. Because of this, they can’t still release an official statement regarding this matter. They still need to review and read the said complaint from the actor.
Aljur started his career in GMA when he joined Star Struck. With this, he have made Kapuso shows together with his Kapuso stars.
The rumored reason why Aljur wants to end his contract against GMA-7 was because he will transfer to Backroom which is formerly managed by Boy Abunda. However, there is still no confirmations released. Lets just wait after GMA-7 releases its official statement regarding this matter.
