Emmy Awards 2014 Official List of Nominees Released Online

The 2014 Emmy Awards official list of nominees were already released online on July 10, 2014 (US Time), the list of Emmy nominees were chosen by the Academy of Television Arts and Sciences. The awarding ceremony of the 66th Emmys will be held this coming August 25, 2014 at the Nokia Theatre in downtown Los Angeles, California.

Some of the most notable movies with the most number of nominations includes HBO’s “Game of Thrones” with a total of 19 nominations, followed closely by “Fargo,” which nabbed 18 nominations, while the movie “American Horror Story: Coven” got a total of 17 nominations.

Matthew McConaughey of True Detective will face off against Bryan Cranston (Breaking Dad) for Lead Actor in a Drama Award. The 66th Primetime Emmy Awards this year will be aired live and exclusively on NBC.
