Aside from the two items mentioned by Chino Roque , he also want to bring with him a family photo, only if he is given the chance or the organization who is responsible for his journey to space will allow him to do so.

According to the first Pinoy astronaut he is proud of being chosen as one of the 22 aspiring astronauts from different countries around the world. Chino Roque was honored during a family reunion held at a church hall in Torrance on July 5, 2014 (US Time).

During the Maniquis (Maniquiz) family reunion, Carson Mayor Pro Tempore Elito Santarina, handed Roque two plagues of recognition, one from the City of Carson while the other one was from their clan, which include the public official.

The 23-year-old Dominic Roque who worked as a crossfit trainer will fly into space aboard a suborbital Lynx space plane built by the US company XCOR Aerospace. Roque who graduated with a psychology degree at De La Salle University won the lone slot for the country after a series of gruelling physical and mental challenges at the AXE Apollo Space Academy (AASA).

One of the mentors and judges of the AASA Space Camp is no less than the second moon to walk on space, astronaut Buzz Aldrin, of the popular NASA’s 1969 Apollo 11 mission.
