Kapamilya star Alex Gonzaga said that her parents must approve her suitors first before entering into a relationship.
In an interview with “Aquiknow and Aboonduh Tonight” segment of “Banana Split” hosted by Krissy (Angelica Panganiban) and Tito Bhoy (Jayson Gainza) on Saturday, June 5, 2014, the 26-year-old former Kapatid actress shared that she need her parent’s approval before she make any decision.
“Kapag ayaw ni mommy Pinty at ng Ate ko (Toni Gonzaga) at ng daddy ko, hindi ko na pinu-push kasi merong discernment ang magulang. Kapag sinabi ng magulang na parang hindi type yung nanliligaw, baka naman talagang hindi maganda,” Alex Gonzaga said.
During her sit-in interview, Alex Gonzaga stressed that “pure love” is more important for having a relationship. However, she noted that she prefers not to have a boyfriend at this time.
Earlier, Alex Gonzaga’s co-star in the upcoming ABS-CBN remake of hit Korean series “Pure Love,” Kapamilya actor Arjo Atayde revealed that he has special feelings to the sister of multimedia star Toni Gonzaga.
Aside from Arjo Atayde, “It’s Showtime” co-host Ryan Bang has been vocal about his feelings for Alex Gonzaga. The actress-host is now gearing up with her various television stint including, “Banana Nite”, “Pinoy Big Brother”, “ASAP” and “The Voice Kids,” where she co-host.
Alex Gonzaga came to prominence as one of the mainstays of TV5 before she was introduced as one of the newest stars of ABS-CBN.
