Yeng Constantino Wants to Become an International Artist

Singer-songwriter Yeng Constantino admitted that she is now making efforts to become an international artist to represent the country in different international scenes.

In a recent interview with Philstar.com, the “Hawak Kamay” singer said that she is trying but she thinks it’s not easy so she really needs to work on it.

“We are trying, it’s not easy. Kapag nakita mo si Christian Bautista parang instantly ‘di ba? Pero it’s something na dapat pagbunuan ng pawis,” she said.

Yeng Constantino said that her talent handler Cornerstone is slowly making efforts to help her achieving her dreams.  According to her, they are making moves to bring her music outside the country.

Her stepping stone to the international scene is when she become the ambassadress of Singaporean school, the Academy of Rock. This is also her second year on representing the school as she recently renewed her contract.

Asked if she is willing to give up her career in the Philippines to maker her dreams come true, the 25-year-old said that it depends on the strategy that she will be making.

Yeng Constantino said that if ever he will be leaving the country, she will leave something that would remind the Filipinos of herself. For example making music videos, though she is outside the country, she can still connect to her fans.

“As I said nga, nakikita ko ang market ko is online. So nakikita kong may advantage din ‘yong paggawa ko ng music video, pino-post ko sa YouTube, paggawa ko ng video blogs na napi-feel nilang nando’n pa rin ako,” she said.

Meanwhile, Yeng Constantino has recently released her newest collaboration album “Next Step Vol. 2” with Academy of Rock for the benefit of Bantay Bata.
