Brad Pitt was allegedly attacked by a man during the red carpet at the Hollywood premiere of the movie “Maleficent,” but the actor was unhurt during the incident and the man who attacked him was led away in handcuffs.

According to some witness they saw the man from the fan area who jumped over a barrier on the red carpet Wednesday at the El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood and rush at Brad Pitt.
The man was able to touch Brad Pitt briefly before security guards wrestled him back across the barrier. The 50-year-old Brad Pitt was apparently unhur during the incident and soon resumed signing autographs with his fans.
The Police Spokeswoman who was in-charge of the incident says the man, whose name she did not know, was arrested on suspicion of battery. Right after the incident on Brad Pitt, the actor greeted fans and walked into the theater.
Brad Pitt’s longtime partner and girlfriend Angelina Jolie stars in the latest Hollywood movie, “Maleficent,” Disney’s new live action spin on “Sleeping Beauty.”
