The country’s most popular comedian and box office king Vice Ganda revealed the main reasons of his current breakup with his boyfriend whom he still refused to identify. The revelation was made by Vice Ganda during the first episode of “The Buzz,” on its return to national TV.
During an interview on Sunday with “The Buzz” host Kris Aquino, the 37-year-old Vice Ganda related how he met his boyfriend, who is reportedly a basketball player.
The It’s Showtime co-host, Vice Ganda was quoted as saying “Nag-meet kami, common friends. Nanood ako ng game. Magaling naman talaga, sobrang galing. Pero kaibi-kaibigan lang. Tapos nagpunta sila sa ‘Showtime,’ nanood sila, chikahan. Natuwa siya sa akin, nagandahan siya sa akin. Hindi niya napigilan ang lahat. Marupok siya, mapusok ako. Go lang ng go, fight lang ng fight,” he said.
Vice Ganda revealed on The Buzz that his separation with his basketball player boyfriend was “mutual,” he stated that “I believe that the only way to keep him is to let him go. Nag-peak na kami. Ang ganda ng samahan namin, ang ganda ng pagkakaibigan namin. Feeling ko ‘yun na ‘yun.” he stated.
According to Vice Ganda he is hoping that his former boyfriend would eventually find someone he can spend the rest of his life with, but despite their agreement he said he will forever treat his former boyfriend as his best friend.
Vice Ganda added further that “Para na kaming matalik na magkaibigan na. Para sa kanya din, para ma-explore niya ang life niya, para marami siyang magawa. We are separated but we are never apart. Forever ko siyang magiging friend kasi mabuting tao siya,” Vice Ganda stated.
The comedian also revealed to the Kris Aquino during the interview with “The Buzz” that Vice Ganda and his boyfriend have known each other for five years until now that they were already separated.
