Makisig Morales to Quit Showbiz & Join Families in Australia

Makisig Morales, the former child actor known for his role as “Super Inggo,” may soon quit showbiz and leave his acting career in the Philippines as he revealed his plans to join his family in Australia. His brother is also a child actor named Maliksi Morales, often featured on various Vice Ganda’s movies.

The 17-year-old actor Makisig Morales revealed to the media that his family has already moved to Australia and he is the one who remained here in the Philippines.

In an interview with ABS-CBN, he was quoted as saying “Ako na lang po ang natira dito,” Makisig Morales said. When he was asked how he adjusted on living with his own, he responded that “Okay naman po kasi palagi naman po kaming nagkikita, nakakapag-Facetime.” he said.

Makisig Morales is currently busy with his shows on ABS-CBN, he is part of the hit series “Mirabella” featuring Julia Barretto and Enrique Gil. The former “Super Inggo” star noted that he already talked to his family of his plans to join them in the near future, probably this coming December 2014.

According to Makisig Morales, his entire family left for Australia to support their father who is working as a diesel mechanic. Makisig Morales also revealed that aside from re-joining his family abroad, he also plans to pursue his study particularly in film directing in Australia.

Makisig Morales started his showbiz career with ABS-CBN’s singing competition “Little Big Star” during the year 2005. He rose to fame when he portrayed the lead role of the successful hit series “Super Inggo.”
