Kapamilya actress Julia Barretto is planning to start with her own clothing line as she is already aware of her responsibility to save up to secure her future knowing the uncertainty of showbiz career. The Star Magic artist started making waves on TV during her portrayal of Anna Calugdan in Kokey.

In an exclusive interview with Push.Ph, Julia Barretto revealed that her mother, former actress Marjorie Barretto, helped her in terms of money matters. Julia agreed with her mother that they are going to save money from her endorsement while she is under the care of her mother for her future.
The 17-year-old actress and model was quoted as saying “Siyempre nag-agree kami ni Mommy na I’m going to save yung lahat ng naipon ko sa endorsements. Kasi pang-future ko na yun habang I’m still under her care and her home, I can still save up pa naman. So siguro the things that I want to buy, siguro mangagaling na yun sa mga mall show, mga tapings, ganun,” she said.
According to Julia Barretto, she wanted to have her own business, like a clothing line or franchise a restaurant like Jollibee. She noted that beside being an actress she wanted to be a businesswoman also.
Although Julia Barretto plans of entering the business world, she noted that she don’t want to end her acting career. She wanted to see herself acting in movies, making more movie shows and achieving awards as an actress.
The daughter of Marjorie Barretto and comedian Dennis Padilla played the lead role in the top-rating teleserye “Mirabella” featuring Enrique Gil, Sam Concepcion, and Mika dela Cruz. The series premiered last March 24, 2014 replacing Annaliza.
