Official Banking Hours Schedule for Holy Week 2014 Released

Major banks in the Philippines released on Friday, April 11, 2014 through their official social media page the banking hours schedule in observance of Holy Week this 2014 starting April 17 -20, 2014.

According to BDO Unibank Inc., its branches will be closed from Thursday, April 17, 2014 to Sunday, April 20, 2014 in observance of the Holy Week 2014.

“In observance of the Holy Week, please be advised that all BDO branches will be open to serve the clients until Wednesday (April 16) and will be closed Maundy Thursday (April 17) to Easter Sunday (April 20),” BDO said in a statement.

Banco De Oro (BDO) added that though its branches will be closed, its Automated Teller Machines (ATMs) and online banking channels will be operational for withdrawal and other banking transactions.

In an announcement made by the Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI) through its official Twitter page, its branches and kiosks will be closed from April 17-20, 2014.

The cut-off time to pay bills due April 17-20, 2014 using e-channels will be on April 16, 2014 at exactly 10 PM. The payment beyond the cut-off time will be considered for the next banking day, April 21, 2014, Monday.

Philippine National Bank (PNB) announced through its official Facebook page that selected branches of PNB will be open from April 17-20, 2014. “PNB is open this Holy Week! Selected PNB branches are open on April 17, 18, 19, and 20.”, PNB said on its Facebook page.

Based on the report, Metrobank and PS Bank will be closed from Holy Thursday until Easter Sunday (April 17-20, 2014) and the operation will resume on Monday.
