The Top 8 finalists of American Idol Season 13 2014 returned for the second round of their live performances on Wednesday night, April 9, 2014 (US Time).
The remaining finalists of Americas most popular singing competition stunned after performing various hits from the 80’s.
During their live performances earlier, Caleb Johnson was noted by the American Idol judges for his spectacular rendition of Journey hit single, “Faithfully.”
Aside from Caleb Johnson, Jena Irene also reigned during her performance at the American Idol Top 8 Round 2. She garnered m(–foul word(s) removed–)ive applause for her roaring version of “I Love Rock N’ Roll.”
Last week’s elimination round has been the critical moment for all the finalists placing Sam Woolf, C.J. Harris and Malaya Watson at the Bottom 3 last week.
Sam Woolf was supposed to be voted off on the competition but the American Idol judges; Jennifer Lopez, Keith Urban and Harry Connick Jr used their “save” to help him advance on the competition.
