Two Filipino Contestants Enter ‘Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 2’ Finals

Jodilly Pendre and Katarina Rodriguez, the two Filipino contestants in Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 2 have entered on the finals following the elimination of Japan’s Marie Nakagawa on the competition.

The Top 3 finalists including Filipinas Jodilly Pendre and Katarina Rodriguez will advance on the finale of the second season of Asia’s Next Top Model together with Sheena Liam from Malaysia.

In the April 2 episode of Asia’s Next Top Model Cycle 2,  Jodilly Pendre, Katarina Rodriguez, Liam and Nakagawa, were tasked to feature catwalk exercises and a photo shoot for Harper’s Bazaar Magazine.

Jodilly Pendre and Katarina Rodriguez were the first finalists to advance on the finale although they got lukewarm reactions for their exercises. However, the judges praised shots on the magazine.

20-year-old Joddily Pendre has been working as a model for quite a while now. She graduated at the University of Santo Tomas who took up an information system degree in college.

On the other hand, 21-year-old Katarina Rodriguez is taking up business management and philosophy courses at the De La Salle University.

During the first season of Asia’s Next Top Model, Stephanie Retuya, a Filipino contestant also marked her name on the prestigious competition after she was able to clinched on the final round. However, she came short to Jessica Amornkuldilok from Thailand.

The winner for Asia’s Next Top Model” will be revealed this coming April 9, 2014 which will premiere on TV5.
