Malaya Watson Performs “Ain’t No Way” & “Lucky” on American Idol Top 8

Malaya Watson, the lone Filipino-American finalist to the American Idol 2014 Season 13 has stunned the audience and judges with her new and improved rendition of Aretha Franklin’s “Ain’t No Way” and her duet of “Lucky” with Sam Woolf.

The 16-year-old part Filipino singer has garnered m(–foul word(s) removed–)ive applause from the audience after her performances. Aside from Malaya Watson, other Top 8 finalists of American Idol 2014 also belted out a spectacular performance during the live show of America’s most popular singing competition.

Some of the finalists were recognized for their performances including Alex Preston and Jessica Meuse who amazed the judges and audience after performing their original songs which they have already performed during the audition.
