Malaya Watson, the lone Filipino-American finalist to the American Idol Season 13 has stunned the crowd with her soulful rendition of The Beatles hit single “Long & Winding Road” during American Idol 2014 Top 9 live performances.
The Top 9 finalists of American Idol Season 13 also drawn m(–foul word(s) removed–)ive applause and cheers from the audience and has amazed the judges including Jennifer Lopez, Harry Connick Jr, and Keith Urban.
Aside from Malaya Watson who garnered a “thumbs up” after her performance, C.J. Harris, Jena Irene Asciutto, Caleb Johnson, Jessica Meuse, Alex Preston, Dexter Roberts, Majesty Rose York, Sam Woolf also stunned on the competition.
Malaya Watson was noted by A.I. judges as most consistently improving American Idol finalist. The 16-year-old Tuba player from Michigan was also applauded not only by the live audience but also those who were watching her performance live on television.
