Comedian Vice Ganda and Senator Nancy Binay were spotted on a dinner together on Tuesday, March 25, 2014 following a selfie photo which surfaced on image-sharing site, Instagram.
Kris Aquino revealed during the live broadcast of “Aquino and Abunda Tonight” that she was fascinated after seeing Vice Ganda and Nancy Binay on the birthday celebration of Bernard Cloma.
“I was so fascinated. Kanina I was being invited to a dinner because it’s Bernard Cloma’s birthday. Alam mo kung sino ang ka-dinner niya? Sila Vice Ganda and Nancy Binay. Pwede talaga magka love love love, peace and harmony,” Kris Aquino said.
The two were spotted together a year after the May 2013 elections where the “It’s Showtime” host allegedly criticized Senator Nancy Binay stating he was not impressed on the track record and political background of Nancy Binay.
Vice Ganda sparked controversy when he mentioned the name of Vice-President Jejomar Binay’s daughter when asked regarding a career in politics.
“Gusto ko president ako agad,” Vice Ganda quipped. “Yung wala kang background, pero mataas agad, parang ‘yung mga pulitiko lang ngayon. Walang background, pero senador agad.”
However, Senator Nancy Binay shrugged off the criticisms of Vice Ganda. She has noted her “on-the-job training” under the office of her father, she worked as the personal (–foul word(s) removed–)istant and served as the United Nationalist Alliance (UNA) Deputy Secretary General. Nancy Binay was hailed as one of the member of 24 incumbent senators.
