Binibining Pilipinas candidate No. 13 Miss Kris Tiffany Janson was announced as the winner of the Best in National Costume during the Bb. Pilipinas 2014: The Road to the Crown special presentation aired on ABS-CBN on March 23.
The 24-year-old Cebu City beauty queen told the media in an earlier interview that her gown is the creation of popular fashion designer Cary Santiago. The gown was inspired by the sampaguita flower and represents purity according to Bb. No. 13.
During the presentation of the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 National Costume competition, Kris Tiffany Janson wear the white gown which feature a modern take on the terno and other variations on the usual national costume. The winning gown also featured a semi-sheer long skirt and sleeves.
The lovely young lady who stands at 5 feet and 8 inches tall also carried a small white umbrella as prop during the presentation of the National Costume competition.
All of the 40 official candidates of the Bb. Pilipinas 2014 are now busy with their final presentation to the public, as they await their glamorous coronation night which will be held this coming March 30, 2014 at the historic Smart Araneta Coliseum in Cubao, Quezon City. The organizers of the event already announced earlier that the tickets of the event are now available to the public to purchase.
The pressure is mounting high for the ladies before the coronation night. World-renowned personalities are set to visit the Philippines to attend the event such as Pop Star Emin and the reigning Miss Universe Maria Gabriela Isler from Venezuela.
