The Ateneo Lady Eagles defeated the La Salle Lady Spikers in Game 4 of the UAAP Women’s Volleyball Finals game held at the SM Mall of Asia Arena on Saturday, March 15, 2014 dominating the three sets and spoiling La Salle’s four-feat championship dreams.
Ateneo dominated the entire game as the team fielded their best players namely Valdez, Patnongon, Ahomiro, Morente, De Jesus, Morado, and Lazaro who led the team on their historic and triumphant victory against La Salle despite the thrice-to-win disadvantage against the top-seeded La Salle in the Finals.
The Ateneo vs. La Salle Game ended with the final score all in favor of Ateneo, the Lady Eagles defeated La Salle in three-straight sets, 25-23, 26-24, 25-21.
According to the gate record attendance of MOA Arena, there were at least 21,000 fans watched the game live at the venue, while ABS-CBN noted that they were expecting hundreds of thousands if not millions of viewers watch their live coverage of the UAAP Season 76 Women’s Volleyball.
