Be Careful With My Heart Extended Until the End of 2014

The top-rating morning kilig-serye of ABS-CBN, “Be Careful With My Heart” will be extended anew, this time the series will end this coming December 2014. The confirmation of the extension was announced by Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria during an interview on Wednesday.

According to “Sir Chief” and “Maya” the popular role of Richard Yap and Jodi Sta. Maria, their fans should not worry about the ending of the series as they revealed that the earliest date to end the series will be on December 2014.

The 46-year-old Richard Yap made the revelation during his launching as Giordano’s first-ever local brand amb(–foul word(s) removed–)ador on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 as he was interviewed by ABS-CBN.

Richard Yap was quoted as saying during the interview “That is if they want to end it,” referring to the possible December 2014 ending of the hit teleserye. During previous reports, ABS-CBN executives noted that “Be Careful With My Heart” will stay on national TV as long as the audience wants it.

During the media interview about the announcement of BCWMH extension, the actor added further that “Of course, it’s a blessing to everyone, not only to us, the actors, the staff and the crew. It’s also a blessing to other people who rely on it kasi for them it’s therapy. For a lot of our OFWs, for them it’s a way to be in touch with the Philippines. So I think it’s a blessing for a lot of people,” Richard Yap said on the program’s longevity.

The kilig-serye, Be Careful With My Heart, featuring Jodi Sta. Maria and Richard Yap started as an experimental morning teleserye that debuted on July 9, 2012 and since then the series dominated the ratings against its rival programs.

During the February 2014 ratings game, the series continued its rating reign, finishing 12th in the Top 15 overall TV programs, based on the details provided by independent survey company, Kantar Media Research.
